Ethnobotany, Variety of Ethnobotany in Bali'
This book is about the use of plants by the Balinese people. Plants are
used as food, clothing, shelter, ceremonies, medicinal plants, ornamental
plants, crafts, food, conservation. Some examples of the use of plants such as
the use of rice used as Balinese snacks, Balinese special foods, kapok as
fillers in making pillows, pomegranates for natural dyes, dipterocarpacea tribe
as building materials, cinnamon leaves have the potential to be anti-microbial
especially fungi, ornamental plants are widely planted in telagan for beauty,
Pandanus trees are used for mats, sandals, gamal grass, cured leaves (kapok) as
animal feed, mangrove species for soil conservation from abrasion.
